SUCCESS CONSCIOUSNESS

An important key to being successful in anything in life is to have a success consciousness.  What does that mean?  Let me explain.

Over time I've learned that the subconscious mind and the conscious mind are actually one in the same, although they serve two different purposes, if you will.  As such, they are closely linked together and work congruently in that one is always influencing the other, but only one has power over the other.

The subconscious mind stores our beliefs, much like your computer hard drive, that influence how we act, think and speak on a conscious level.  This is also where our negative attitude is stored.  Our conscious mind retains information we require to carry out our daily activities.  Consciousness is another word for awareness.  Our awareness functions either on a positive or negative frequency.

In our awareness or consciousness, we have the ability to make choices, based on either a positive or negative mental attitude and for some that is a fine line to walk because, I believe, many people do not feel they have the power to control it.  They feel like a victim by the events in their lives, but do not take notice of the hints provided by their higher power to shine through.

For example, when things are going well and all looks positive, we seem more creative and make decisions with more confidence.  We say things like, "God was on my side" or "Someone was watching over me".  We tend to ignore these hints by sabotaging the efforts of the subconscious mind and thus bury the true power of who we really are.

When we are born, we begin our lives as our true positive selves with a close connection to our higher power, but slowly our subconscious begins to fill with negative messages and the connection begins to fade into the background.  We see this in children all the time as adults encourage them to "be realistic" by suppressing or ignoring their expanding thoughts.  We were meant to be positive, not negative.

Our consciousness, when in a positive state, holds the key to unlocking our Universal or God Power to be able to reach our subconsious mind, and in so doing, our true potential.  Once the choice is made to have a positive mental attitude and we direct our efforts to expand our consciousness, we can change our useless or negative beliefs, thus bringing us closer to our true selves.  It is only when we expand our consciousness that our true selves fully emerge and we see what we are truly capable of.
