Meditation for Success

Meditation - one of the best ways to keep the lines of communication open to our Higher Self.  It also solidifies the concept of something "bigger than myself".

Like anything, meditation as a means to keep connected to who we truly are, can be learned and become second nature.  As the saying goes, "practice makes perfect".  It is easier to continually "practice" meditation as a way of connecting to our True Self than it is to stop and start again.  Sometimes we have intentions of doing something that will take us deeper in our lives, but then it tapers off and we eventually stop.  Beginning something new is always difficult and takes adjustment, but if we continue daily and push through the down times we become stronger and more confident.  Eventually it becomes our reality.

It is difficult to go against the grain of society even if it is something we believe in and I now believe there are three things that can help us succeed:
  1. Remember that, although we are all one with each other, everyone's reality is different so you must do what is right for you when it comes to connecting with your True Self.
  2. As sure as you are in your doubts, you can turn it around and become equally as sure in your abilities.
  3. Although it may be challenging at times, remember that you are not alone.  Our soul is always with us, waiting to inspire us to turn our thoughts into things.
I've always felt that maybe I was not one to be successful at meditation and I am thrilled to realize that the intention of connecting during meditation helps to keep the "lines of communication" open to my Higher Self.  This alone gives me encouragement.
